The 2015 NFL Scouting Combine is now upon us and it won’t be long until the free agent signing period is here. In fact, four weeks from now we should know the status of several soon-to-be Pittsburgh Steelers free agents and we might be talking about a few veterans that were released.
As usual, we have five questions for you to answer on this Friday night which just so happens to fall on the 13th. A special thanks to all of you that continue to frequent this site during the offseason and I hope that all of you have a great weekend.
1 – So far the guys have been hard at work breaking down draft prospects for you and at the time of this post 37 have already been completed. Name me one player that you would like to see a breakdown of that we haven’t covered as of yet.
2 – The combine will get underway next week and I want you to tell me one player you are looking forward to getting measured and working out at the annual Underwear Olympics and why.
3 – NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock released his top-5 pre-combine rankings this week of all of the positions and you can see them here. Now I want you to rank your top-5 cornerbacks in this draft class.
4 – Will Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sign a new contract extension before or after the start of the new league year which is now less than a month away?
5 – Being as it is Friday the 13th I thought we would talk about Steelers players who have worn the No. 13. According to the Steelers website, however, during the Super Bowl era only two Steelers players, punter Jeremy Kapinos and running back Dri Archer, have worn the number during a season, but I seem to remember that quarterback Steve Bono also wore that number at one point during his Steelers career. With that out of the way, is former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino the best NFL player to ever wear the No. 13?
