Season 5, Episode 51 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers 42-21 win Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals after first recapping the injury situation coming out of the game.
As usual, David and I focus in on several individual performances in the game and we spend time talking about how well the defense played outside of giving up a few explosive plays. The turnover was a huge turning point in Sunday’s win and we don’t discount it. In addition, the Steelers ability to run the football to the left side was a huge factor in the win.
We break down several key stats from the game and also talk about the decisions to make running back Dri Archer inactive and only playing rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier on special teams.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
