Steelers Versus Bengals Week 14 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Marcus Gilbert – Gilbert will miss a second straight game Sunday after failing to practice all week because of an injured ankle. With Gilbert down, Mike Adams will again start at right tackle at that means Chris Hubbard will again get a helmet.

Justin Brown – There’s no reason to think that Brown will dress as a sixth wide receiver against the Bengals so expect to see his name on the pre game inactive list once again.

James Harrison – Harrison ended the week listed as doubtful after failing to practice all week due to a left knee injury. The Steelers activated linebacker Jarvis Jones Saturday so he and Arthur Moats will more than likely rotate at right outside linebacker should Harrison indeed miss the game.

Landry Jones – Jones remains a permanent fixture on the Steelers inactive list and will not dress again this week.

B.W. Webb – Now that Ike Taylor and Shamarko Thomas have both returned, Webb figures to be the odd man out moving forward. It sounds like cornerback Brice McCain is good to go this week as well and that will also work against Webb.

Clifton Geathers – Is Steve McLendon finally able to play?  He was able to practice fully all week but ended the week listed as questionable. This is a tough spot to guess, but being as he practiced fully on Friday, I will guess that he tries to give it a go Sunday. If he’s held out once again, then Geathers will get his helmet.

Ross Ventrone – I don’t have a clue how this final spot will shake out now that linebacker Ryan Shazier is expected back. Ventrone seems like the obvious choice to lose a helmet this week.
