Season 5, Episode 40 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I start off this show by talking about what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say Tuesday during his Tuesday press conference. This includes us talking about the injury situation heading into Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, the usage of Vince Williams and Sean Spence against the Baltimore Ravens and how dancing will no longer be allowed on kickoff coverages.
Should Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown be in the running for the MVP award this year? We look at what the ESPN.com beat writers had to say recently on that subject and throw in a few our thoughts on which of the two would get the team MVP if the season were to end today.
We also end the first segment by talking about running back Le’Veon Bell and his contributions on third down so far this season.
In part two of the show, David and I talk to Manish Mehta, who covers the Jets for the New York Daily News. As usual, we get insight on the opposing team from a beat writer that has covered them for quite a while. Make sure you are following Manish on Twitter at @MMehtaNYDN and you can also read his work online right here.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
