Season 5, Episode 47 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into talking about the action around the NFL in Week 12 with the Pittsburgh Steelers off on their bye week.
Did you see the final few minutes of the game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Cleveland Browns? The Falcons deserved to lose that game thanks to head coach Mike Smith as his clock management was absolutely horrible at the end of that game. We cry over the Falcons spilled milk and break down what happened.
Outside of the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins both losing in Week 12, the Steelers really didn’t profit much during their bye week. We’ll see what happens Monday night with the Baltimore Ravens, but regardless, two teams out of the AFC North stand a good chance of making the playoffs.
Former Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount scored twice Sunday for the New England Patriots and you know that fired up the black and gold faithful. We hit on that as well as Blount paying tribute to Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown after scoring his first touchdown.
Over the course of the last few weeks the Steelers have lost two practice squad defensive ends to other teams and that also has the fan base irritated. We discuss all of those moves and the potential fallout associated with them.
