Steelers Can Leap Into 6th Seed In AFC With Win Monday Night

Does anybody want to win the AFC North this year?

After losing 23-7 at home Sunday to the Houston Texans, the Cleveland Browns have now surrendered the top position in the AFC North back to the Cincinnati Bengals, who beat the New Orleans Saints Sunday 27-10.

With a win Monday night over the Tennessee Titans, the Pittsburgh Steelers would have one more win than the Bengals, but would trail them in the winning percentage column. At 7-4, however, the Steelers would then be the sixth seeded team in the AFC at the conclusion of Week 11.

Should the Steelers lose to the Titans, they would tumble to the bottom of the AFC North with five losses.

After the game against the Titans the Steelers will have their long-awaited bye week. After the bye they potentially stand to get several key defensive players back from injuries for their Week 13 home game against the Saints.

The Saints can do the Steelers a favor next week as they will host the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
