As promised, here is the passing chart for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger from the Monday night game against the Tennessee Titans.
As you can see by the blue dots, Roethlisberger was 13-of-14 passing on throws that traveled 10 or less yards past the line of scrimmage. Roethlisberger’s only incompletion was the throw to running back Le’Veon Bell that was dropped after contact was made.
On the throws that Roethlisberger made that traveled 15 or more yards in the air past the line of scrimmage, he was 3-of-11 with one interception and one touchdown.
On throws of 11 of more yards down the field, only seven were between the numbers and only three of those were completed.
This week, Roethlisberger only had one throw that traveled behind the line of scrimmage and that was the swing pass to rookie running back Dri Archer on the right side.
