Ravens CB Jimmy Smith To Miss Steelers Game With Foot Sprain

When the Baltimore Ravens line up to play the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday night at Heinz Field they will be without their best player in their secondary.

During his Monday press conference, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told the media that starting cornerback Jimmy Smith will be sidelined “for a few weeks” with a foot sprain.

Smith, a former first-round draft pick, has had a solid season thus far and it includes him only allowing 51.3% of the passes thrown his way this season to be completed, according to Pro Football Focus.

With Smith sidelined for a while, the Ravens will be forced to start either Dominique Franks or Lardarius Webb against the Steelers Sunday night.
