Season 5, Episode 15 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I spend the bulk of this show recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-27 win Sunday over the Cleveland Browns to start the 2014 season 1-0.
We go over the first and second half with a fine tooth comb and tell you what we thought were the positives and the negatives. We discuss several individual performances and also talk about the state of the Steelers defense moving forward.
While we forget to discuss the contract extension given to cornerback Cortez Allen on Saturday, we do manage to spend a few minutes talking about the new video that surfaced Monday morning that shows Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancée in the elevator of a casino during the offseason.
The Steelers have a short week as they will play the Ravens Thursday so we hope to have a Baltimore beat writer on Wednesday’s show to preview the game.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
