Bills LB Stevenson Sylvester Out For Season With Torn Patella Tendon

The Buffalo Bills are having bad luck at the linebacker position this offseason and it looks like they’ve now lost another for the season as well.

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Stevenson Sylvester has been placed on injured reserve with a torn patella tendon.

Rodak states that Sylvester, who was originally drafted by the Steelers in the fifth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Utah, had a shot at making the Bills final 53 man roster this year due to fellow linebacker Nigel Bradham needing to serve a one-game suspension to start the regular season for violating the substance-abuse policy.

The Bills had previously lost starting linebacker Kiko Alonso for the 2014 season due to a torn ACL back in July. After Alonso was injured, the Bills signed Sylvester a few weeks later.
