Victims Of Alleged Nightclub Attack Expected To Sue Pouncey Brothers

The man who has accused Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and his twin brother Mike Pouncey of assaulting him early Saturday morning at the Cameo club in Miami Beach is planning to take the players to court.

According to NBC 6 in Miami, Riquan James has announced plans to sue the Pouncey brothers for the injuries that he suffered during the alleged incident that took place during a planned birthday celebration for the twins.

James said in a phone interview with the Miami station that the Pouncey brothers started taunting him in the VIP section.

“From there, somebody grabbed me and I got hit,” James said. “Somebody lifted me up and dragged me out of the club. I was being beat up, I was getting punched and kicked. A bottle hit me.”

On Monday, a copy of the Miami Beach Police incident report surfaced and neither of the Pouncey brothers were listed on it. The police investigation, however, is expected to continue and security footage from the club is also expected to be examined to determine whether or not the Pouncey brothers played any part in the alleged assault.
