Nevada S Duke Williams Confirms He Is Headed To Pittsburgh For Pre Draft Visit With Steelers

We passed along the news last week that Nevada safety Duke Williams was scheduled to have a pre draft visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers and today Williams confirmed on his Twitter account that he is indeed headed to Pittsburgh.

Williams earned second-team All-WAC honors as a junior, and second-team All-Mountain West honors as a senior. He recorded 292 total tackles, 4 interceptions, broke up 18 passes and forced 5 fumbles in 50 games played at Nevada, where he started 38 of them at strong safety.

As far as his pre draft agility test go, Williams posted a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash, 1.58 10-yard dash, 2.55 20-yard dash, 4.00 20-yard shuttle, 11.66 60-yard shuttle, 7.17 three-cone drill, 37 ½-inch vertical jump, 10’6” broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 13 times.
