Steelers Injury Report: Antonio Brown & Chris Rainey Injured In Win Over Giants

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media for his post game press conference following the 24-20 win Sunday over the New York Giants at MetLife stadium.

Tomlin said the team overcame a lot of adversity today.

As far as injuries suffered in the game , Tomlin said linebacker Adrian Robinson (quad) suffered a quad injury and running back Chris Rainey (ribs or rib/cartilage) suffered a rib injury of some kind. It should be noted that Rainey was in a ton of pain before being taken to the locker room and they had a tough time even getting his shoulder pads off of him.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) suffered a left high ankle sprain that Tomlin termed as mild. He admitted that he did not know what they means for him right now and that they will have a further look at it.

Safety Will Allen (stinger) suffered a stinger in the game, but was able to return.

Tomlin will next update the injury situation during his Tuesday press conference.
