Tim starts off by giving up a recap of what the Steelers worked on Tuesday and then we move on to discuss what he has seen thus far out of Ziggy Hood, being as we have not heard too much reported on him thus far in training camp. We follow that by flipping over to the defensive end spot to discuss who will likely get the second team work Thursday night at right defensive end being as Cameron Heyward has been ruled out for the game. Tim thinks it could be Al Woods with Corbin Bryant receiving the second team reps at left defensive end behind Hood.
There has been a lot of talk early this week about David DeCastro, so Tim gives his thoughts on where he think the rookie is at in his development thus far as he heads into his first preseason game Thursday night. We also get the thoughts of Tim on David Johnson and if he thinks there is a possibility that both he and Will Johnson could make the 53 man roster. We close the interview by talking about the battle for the 5th wide receiver spot and talk about the three young cornerbacks and how that battle is coming along.
