Season 3, Episode 1 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off the show by recapping what David observed Thursday at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. You can listen to the full recap in the short podcast we put up late Thursday.
Former Oakland Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler thinks the league should kick linebacker James Harrison out of the league based on the latest concussion lawsuit filed by former players against the league. While Harrison is certainly no angel, I give the recap of how Stabler too is no angel. Stabler needs money pretty bad and it is not surprising he is jumping in on this latest lawsuit.
We move on to recap the comments made by General Manager Kevin Colbert on Thursday in regard to restricted free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace, who has yet to report to training camp and sign his tender. We also talk about Colbert indicating on Thursday that the team will indeed use the three $500K veteran cap credits this year that are at their disposal and what that means.
Linebacker Brandon Johnson has been on my mind since he was signed late in the offseason and I recap why that is.
Should fans really be all over Wallace just yet or should they wait until he misses the first week before forming a lynch mob? We discuss.
We close out the show by reading some listener emails from all over the globe.
