Steelers Six From Around The Web – July 5th – Troy Smith Early Courtesy Release Edition

Bill Lubinger of The Plain Dealer reports that former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Troy Smith was released early so that he\’d have an opportunity to catch on elsewhere before training camps get started. Lubinger reports Mike Tomlin was the one to inform Smith of his release.

Zac Jackson of FOX Sports Ohio has a piece up on Steelers rookie tackle Mike Adams after Jackson talked to Adams while he was attending the NFL rookie symposium.

D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a great Q & A up with former Steelers safety Chris Hope, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons this past week.
