Season 2, Episode 121 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start with wide receiver Antonio Brown having one of his jerseys from last season put into the Pro Football Hall of Fame because he was the first players to eclipse 1,000 yards both as a receiver and a return man. We discuss how big of feat that is and why it will likely stand for a while.
We move on to talk about the the Thursday transaction that saw the Steelers waive former University of Pittsburgh linebacker Brandon Lindsey and sign former LSU linebacker Ryan Baker. Lindsey of course had a shoulder injury that will require surgery that required the move being made. That news leads to David and I talking about the Steelers linebacker depth once again and includes us discussing Mortty Ivy and Stevenson Sylvester among others for quite a bit.
The last part of the show requires us to pull out the soap box so David can get on it and preach about the recent comments made by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees as it relates to the bounty situation and former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly as it relates to his comments on the quarterback situation for the New York Jets. I slide in a comment about not caring too much for the four part feature on the NFL Network that consisted of an interview with Brett Favre. David also takes a few shots at Donovan McNabb in addition for his recent comments.
