Report: LaMarr Woodley Out Versus Ravens & Maybe Longer

Gerry Dulac is reporting this morning that a source inside the Steelers organization told him that outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley will not be able to play in Sunday\’s pivotal AFC North showdown versus the Ravens and could be out the following week as well against the Bengals.

Woodley injured his hamstring during the Steelers 25-17 win over the Patriots this past Sunday. Before leaving the game Woodley recorded his fourth consecutive multi-sack game. The absence of Woodley would be devastating to a Steelers team that is already thin at both linebacker spots due to injuries. Outside linebacker James Harrison, who has missed the last four games with a fractured orbital bone, and said yesterday he will miss the game against the Ravens as well. Inside linebacker James Farrior will also be out Sunday with an injured calf so that leaves Stevenson Slyvester and rookie Chris Carter to pick up the slack if Jason Worilds is unable to play once again due to his injured quad.

Mike Tomlin will update all of the injuries today during his press conference.
