Prediction Of Week 12 Steelers Inactives Against The Chiefs

The Steelers are back from their bye week now and ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. The Friday injury report showed 3 players as being questionable and I fully expect all three to be inactive this week. Let\’s have a look at the injured players and predict the other remaining inactives this week as the Steelers look to move to 8-3 on the season. The official inactive list are released 90 minutes before kick-off and I will have them up on the site as soon as they are announced.

OLB LaMarr Woodley – Woodley was limited all week in practice as he continues to try to return from his hamstring injury suffered against the Patriots back in week 8. Woodley missed the games against the Ravens and the Bengals, and despite having the bye week last week, it looks almost certain he will sit out against the Chiefs. Hopefully he can return next week against the Bengals.

ILB Stevenson Sylvester – Sylvester surfaced on the injury report on Thursday with a calf injury and was limited with it again on Friday. He was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report and will be a game-time decision. Because of his limited practice this week, I am betting that he will be inactive.

T Jamon Meredith – Meredith once again will be the odd offensive lineman out this week and will be inactive against the Chiefs. I assume the Steelers will dress 8 offensive linemen this week.

NT Chris Hoke – Hoke is reportedly back healthy after recovering from a mid-season stinger but has been passed on the depth chart by Steve McLendon. He was been inactive since week 6 and there is no reason to think that will change this week.

DE Al Woods – Woods has yet to dress since being claimed off waivers from the Seahawks and it is hard to see that changing this week.

WR Arnaz Battle – Battle injured his hamstring against the Bengals and after practicing fully on Thursday, he was limited on Friday which leads to believe he might not yet be 100%. He will likely be down this week with Emmanuel Sanders set to return to the lineup and Jonathan Dwyer will likely get a helmet this week with Battle down to help out on special teams.

QB Dennis Dixon – Another week on the inactive list for the Steelers third string quarterback.
