Pretty much as expected, Steelers outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley has accepted and signed his one-year franchise tender offer on Wednesday and his agent, Doug Hendrickson, said he and the Steelers will work towards a long-term contract after the NFL\’s labor situation is settled.

Yesterday we wrote about draft day trade history of Steelers Director of Football Operations Kevin Colbert as many fans are wondering if the Steelers will trade up in round one in the draft.

The NFL said in a Wednesday release that they will use new sideline test to determine concussions next season and that more details of the evaluation will be announced Friday in Indianapolis at the annual scouting combine.
