Steelers Panthers Week 16 Wednesday Practice Injury Report

The Steelers wrapped up practice preparations on Wednesday for their week 16, Thursday night game against the Carolina Panthers. S Troy Polamalu (ankle) and WR Arnaz Battle (chest) both did not practice again on Wednesday and both have been ruled out on the injury report. DT Steve McLendon (stinger) practiced fully and is listed as probable, but will likely still be one of the 8 inactive players. DE Aaron Smith (triceps) has long been ruled out. TE Heath Miller looks good to go as he looks to return from a concussion suffered a few weeks ago. Miller is not listed on the injury report at all this week.

For the Panthers on Wednesday, FB Tony Fiammetta (ankle) did not practice again and is listed as out. CB Chris Gamble (ankle) is doubtful after sitting out Wednesday as well. Gamble had been limited on Tuesday. CB Captain Munnerlyn (not injury related) and RB Mike Goodson (illness) both practiced fully on Wednesday after all they both sat out Tuesday and are probable. DE Tyler Brayton (hip) also practiced fully on Wednesday and is questionable. WR Armanti Edwards (illness), LB Jordan Senn (knee), G Mackenzy Bernadeau (knee) and T Garry Williams (knee) all practiced fully as well on Wednesday and they are probable headed into gameday on Thursday.
