Steelers 2010 Training Camp Day 4 Recap & Notes – Monday – August 2nd

Day 4 of training camp starts in Latrobe now as today features two practices with the later being open to the public. We will have news, notes, nuggets and practice information from today posted up on this page as we get it in. Check back often through out the evening to see the updates.

  • Several veterans getting the morning off Hines Ward, James Farrior, Aaron Smith and Casey Hampton.
  • Maurkice Pouncey also appears out again today and Ramon Foster is dressed and running around this morning.
  • Jonathan Dwyer reportedly is dressed as well and running around this morning, but will not work.
  • Steelers trainers are looking at rookie linebacker Jason Worilds right knee.
  • Steelers worked on kickoff returns with Stefan Logan up first. Emmanuel Sanders, Antonio Brown and Joe Burnett also received reps.

  • Hampton sidelined still in afternoon session working on the side.

  • Hampton and Foster limited today close to returning on full basis.
  • Jason Worilds injury described as hamstring.
  • Pouncey had test done per Tomlin and is close to returning (hamstring).
  • Steelers released fullback Demetrius Taylor, signed fullback Dwayne Wright off waivers from Eagles.
